Tutor/Assessor - (Hybrid) Remote & Onsite


Next Level is the business development group of Reflections Training Academy, a Grade 1 Ofsted Outstanding provider.


We are currently recruiting for a Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor and are looking for someone who is highly driven and motivated who would like to join a training provider that is focused on quality learning and the learner experience.


Experience is an advantage but candidates with high levels of industry experience that hold the relevant qualification will also be considered


Typical duties of the Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor will include:

  • Train, coach, and assess a range of Apprenticeship standards which include Customer Service, Business Admin, Team Leading and Digital Marketing, through collaborative group workshops and monthly on site one to ones (both online and face to face)
  • Providing constructive feedback on learner work to ensure the stretch and challenge of the learner’s abilities
  • Manage own diary efficiently to accommodate virtual and/or face to face sessions, and ensure regular contact with learners and stakeholders
  • Carrying out regular tripartite reviews with the learner and employer, to ensure adequate progress is being made, support is being offered and the 20% off the job training is being achieved
  • Support the learners understanding and participation in maths and English delivery monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
  • Guide and ensure learners are ready for End Point Assessment within agreed timeframes meeting their individual needs, aspirations and set targets
  • Support the initial induction of learners onto the apprenticeship programme, ensuring their current skills are reflective to their delivery
  • Working to specific quality measures and completion of targets
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Assist in the development of courses and materials and liaise with the quality team to prepare for, and participate in, external quality assurance visits from awarding bodies
  • Support the preparation and development of delivery materials ensuring an inspiring and interactive delivery
  • Maintain your professional level of expertise and keep up to date with the latest developments in the field, undertaking training and development directly relevant to your professional role as necessary
  • Attend all company CPD events.


Skills, experience, and qualifications required for the Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor

  • Hold, or be willing to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification e.g., PTLLS or equivalent,
  • Hold relevant qualifications or vocational competence within the above-mentioned standards (Digital Marketing desirable but not mandatory)
  • Flexible approach and able to inspire and motivate learning.
  • Knowledge and experience of using e-portfolios systems
  • Professional with the ability to demonstrate and deliver high quality training
  • Strong communication skills, approachable and able to initiate ideas.
  • A driving licence is essential with access to your own vehicle
