Greenhill Shop Assistant Manager

(15 hours per week over 2 days)

We are an award-winning Hospice providing supportive and palliative care for our patients, their families and carers across South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds.

We offer a diverse range of services including nursing and therapies in our Day Hospice, 24/7 Hospice at Home, Counselling and Family Support Services and bespoke services for young people, including a children's bereavement service, support for young carers and support for 16-24 year olds with a life limiting illness.

We are looking for a responsible Part-Time Assistant Manager for our Greenhill Street shop in central Stratford-upon-Avon, working alongside the Shop Manager to support and provide stable leadership to our staff and volunteers teams. Your job will be important in ensuring the shop meet its sales targets by continuing to achieve high standards of customer service, fantastic visual merchandising and smooth-running day to day activities.

Our ideal candidate will have previous retail management experience with a sharp business mind set and be willing to be an active and leading presence on the shop floor. You should also be skilled at organising, prioritising tasks and solving problems. You will know what it's like to work in a busy shop or stockroom environment and demonstrate excellent Health & Safety practices.

You will also have good interpersonal and staff management skills which will be important to motivate and drive your team as you act as a liaison between retail staff, volunteers and customers. Supporting in training, recruitment and project management will also be a key to success.

Salary: 7,098 per annum ( 17,745 per annum pro rata)

Hours of Work: 15 hours per week over 2 days. Flexible rota basis (Monday- Saturday). Overtime opportunities available
