Sales Ledger and Pricing Assistant - Part Time (18 hours pw)
Overview
We are looking for an individual with a good knowledge and understanding of book-keeping, as well as the ability to do a variety of tasks with limited supervision.
Responsibilities to include
- Pricing and raising of sales invoices for our homecare and outsourced pharmacy company, Pharmaxo Healthcare
- Emailing or posting invoices and proof of deliveries to customers
- Continuous improvement of sales invoicing process
- Working with Credit Control team to resolve customer queries
- Administration duties as required within the team e.g. answering the telephone and welcoming visitors to the company
- Filing and archiving of documents as necessary
- Participating in monthly stock takes
Skills
- Ability to do a variety of tasks with some guidance or supervision
- A keen eye for detail
- Excel skills to basic level (e.g. sum, sort and filter)
- Can bring energy and drive into the role
- Ability to select and use relevant cognitive and practical skills to complete well-defined, generally routine tasks and address straightforward problems
- Ability to identify how effective actions have been
- Ability to gather and use relevant information to inform actions
- Ability to do a variety of tasks with some guidance or supervision
- Manages time and activity well
- Self-confidence and good interpersonal skills
Knowledge and experience
- Experience working in an Accounts department desirable
- Training available (e.g. AAT Level 2)
Accountabilities
This post will give you the opportunity to engage in self-directed activity with guidance/evaluation whilst accepting responsibility for the quantity and quality of output of your own tasks.
Specifically, holders will be accountable for:
- Maintenance of sales ledger and posting of invoices
- Continuous improvement of sales invoicing process
Hours
Part time: 18 hours per week (likely to be worked over 3 days per week)
