Job purpose
• Develop effective partnerships with local authorities, housing and refugee support organisations and networks to increase our influence and impact across the region.
• Work with partners to identify, develop and secure income to grow our refugee and migrant housing and support services.
• Harness our unique insight to secure and deliver specialist consultancy to ensure the provision of high quality, responsive services for refugee and migrant communities
• Work with colleagues and partners to deliver influential campaigns that challenge entrenched inequality and injustice in our society that impacts refugees and migrants

About you
To be considered for this role you will need
• A commitment to and understanding of our vision of building a better future for refugees and migrants in the UK
• Knowledge of refugee and/or housing networks, partners and stakeholders across the region
• Experience of building effective partnerships to establish, develop and deliver high quality services
• A track record of business development and successful income generation
• ability to utilise excellent written and verbal communication skills to inspire and influence
• Proficiency in the use of modern business technologies
About the role
Key objectives and responsibilities
You will:
• Build effective relationships with public and private sector partners, alongside local decision-making fora to meet ACHs strategic objectives.
• Horizon scan for consultancy opportunities, identify markets for our specialist knowledge in relation to refugee and global majority recruitment
• Work with colleagues to generate and secure new income streams
• Grow the market for our housing, knowledge and people services exploiting our USP’s around refugee and Global Majority recruitment, consultancy and training services
• Ensure the ACH Brand is consistently promoted within its guidelines
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and execute regional and national campaigns in support of ACH’s strategic ambitions.
Personal specification:
• Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent level work experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar business development and marketing environment.
• Able to demonstrate access to potential partners and stakeholders in the region.
• A demonstrable track record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Ability to influence
• Strong communication skills and ability to sell a vision
• Entrepreneurial minded with strong customer management skills
• Able to perform well in a fast-paced and highly challenging environment
• Team player, diplomatic
