Production Co-ordinator – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Bath ASU produces around 2,000 aseptically compounded injectable pharmaceutical products each day for hospitals and patients across the UK who are fighting cancer, living with chronic disease or in need of pain relief. Through our scientific and technology capabilities, the team continuously develops new and innovative methods to improve our products and services.

Every member of our team has an integral part to play in helping to produce these important, life-changing medicines for patients in hospitals or at home who are suffering with cancer, chronic illnesses or in need of pain relief.

Your role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of the senior production team to ensure deadlines are met.  You will be the primary contact for the uniform supplier/launder and be required to have an organized process around deliveries and availability.  You will send structured daily/weekly comms to various members of the Bath ASU and wider teams regarding production performance.  You will assist with the day-to-day organization of the production team including rotas, PDR’s and training.  You will assist in the set up and ongoing administration of the vendor assurance process.  You will ensure all relevant paperwork is completed by the production team to GMP standards.

Your duties & responsibilities

  • Responsible for clean room attire – checks deliveries, deals with supplier, ensures stock levels are adequate
  • Diarises PDR’s and 121’s for HoP, DPM’s & SL’s and adds documents to people HR
  • Ensures PIP’s are managed effectively/timely
  • Coordinates training
  • Compiles weekly rota with the SL’s
  • Assists with documentation updates – monitors progress/tracks/chases down
  • Assists with VA set up and maintenance
  • Gathers daily/weekly/monthly production KPI data
  • Sends daily update to Exec
  • Creates Friday meeting slide deck
  • Is a member of the H&S committee – compiles minutes and ensures actions are followed up and completed on time
  • Assist with any other organisation task as requested

Benefits

  • 29 days holiday (including bank holidays). This is increased by 1 day after 1 year of continuous employment, up to a maximum of 34 days (including bank holidays).

  • Pension - you will be auto-enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5%. You can opt to contribute 6% to which the employer will contribute 8%.
  • Life assurance 8x salary with a max of £200,000
  • 6 month probation period
