Marketing & Business Development

(Full or Part Time considered)

Our client is looking to fill a position within their Marketing & Business Development team.

Established over 140 years ago, they are a construction company renowned for their high-quality craftsmanship and commitment to their employees and the communities in which they work.

The successful candidate will be involved in creating and implementing new marketing initiatives with a strategic targeted approach.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Digital marketing including the creation of social media posts
  • Managing the google AdWord campaigns and updating website content (using HTML)
  • Crating customer newsletters, case studies, literature, adverts etc
  • Creating marketing content
  • Involved in writing press releases and case studies
  • Identifying opportunities for Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Identification and implementation of opportunities for business growth
  • Identifying opportunities for joint marketing and promotion with community groups, businesses and organisations
  • Providing monthly reports for Senior Management meetings
  • Involvement in the company’s carbon reduction plan and carbon reduction team meetings

Person Description:

The ideal candidate will have some previous experience in marketing and the following skills would be highly beneficial:

  • Some copywriting skills
  • Experience with HTML coding
  • Updating and editing websites on Wordpress
  • Writing press releases, articles and advertorials
  • Managing Adword Campaigns
  • Designing adverts and corporate literature
  • Preparing tender submissions
  • Seeking opportunities on tender portals

Package details:

Up to £27.5k depending on experience, plus:
