Marketing & Business Development

Our client is looking to fill a position within their Marketing & Business Development team.
Established over 140 years ago, they are a construction company renowned for their high-quality craftsmanship and commitment to their employees and the communities in which they work.
The successful candidate will be involved in creating and implementing new marketing initiatives with a strategic targeted approach.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Digital marketing including the creation of social media posts
- Managing the google AdWord campaigns and updating website content (using HTML)
- Crating customer newsletters, case studies, literature, adverts etc
- Creating marketing content
- Involved in writing press releases and case studies
- Identifying opportunities for Corporate Social Responsibility
- Identification and implementation of opportunities for business growth
- Identifying opportunities for joint marketing and promotion with community groups, businesses and organisations
- Providing monthly reports for Senior Management meetings
- Involvement in the company’s carbon reduction plan and carbon reduction team meetings
Person Description:
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience in marketing and the following skills would be highly beneficial:
- Some copywriting skills
- Experience with HTML coding
- Updating and editing websites on Wordpress
- Writing press releases, articles and advertorials
- Managing Adword Campaigns
- Designing adverts and corporate literature
- Preparing tender submissions
- Seeking opportunities on tender portals
Package details:
Up to £27.5k depending on experience, plus:
