Credit Control Assistant – Part Time (18 hours per week)

The role
We are looking for a part time Credit Control Assistant to join the team supporting the existing Credit Controller. Previous experience in credit control or other administrative positions is desirable. The successful candidate will be organised, comfortable communicating politely and assertively by both email and telephone, have a strong attention to detail and be an enthusiastic solutionist.
Responsibilities to include:
- Monitoring incoming emails to the credit control team and managing the inbox
- Producing statements and copy documents upon request
- Allocating cash receipts daily
- Following up on remittance queries and outstanding debt by email and telephone
- Responding to customer queries
- Assisting with resolution of internal invoicing queries
- Building and maintaining positive working relationship with customers
- Performing ad hoc tasks as required

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A positive analytical approach to problem solving
- A confident and courteous communicator both on the phone and over email
- Microsoft office literate
- Motivated and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
Salary and benefits
- Salary of £22,500 pro rata
- Hours: 18 hours per week: Monday-Thursday: 09:00-12:30, Friday: 09:00-13:00
- 29 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata). Increasing with service
